Here at Province Group, we get to know our clients and their requirements right from the beginning of the project. We do this though a one-to-one consultation in order to get a clear understanding of our client, their budget and what we need to achieve to complete their vision.

You may already have plans for your project to share with us, if so great, if not, no problem! We’ll happily introduce you to one of our trusted building architects to best suit your individual project.

We will work with you all the way on this to ensure we’re getting the most use of the space and budget available to achieve the best possible outcome.

Once we have full planning permission, the building control drawings will then need to be drawn and submitted. Sometimes, these are drawn at the same time as the full planning drawings in order to make the planning process more seamless.

Once the plans are submitted to the local authorities for planning permission; we can then discuss the scope of the project, whether it’s a shell only, a full turnkey finish, or with interior design.

Once we have all the information required from you, we’ll then get to work to supply a fully comprehensive, broken down, fixed quotation for your review. This usually takes 2 weeks.

Once received, we give you as much time as you need to come back to us with any amendments to the breakdown. This is a critical part of the entire process, as it will prevent any unforeseen additions during the construction phase of your build.

Once the price is all in place, the Province Group team will create a bespoke schedule of works and payments for you and your project, as well as a proposed start date.

Once you’re all happy, we’ll send one document over with all the agreed details and breakdowns. Take your time to review this and make sure you’re 100% happy with everything. If you’re good to go, just sign on the dotted line and we’re ready to start the construction phase of the project.

On commencement, the Province Group team will have a pre-start meeting with yourselves and the contracts/site foremen to discuss any special requirements along with location of site set-ups etc. This is an important part of the process as you’ll be meeting the various management individuals who will take you through from this point through to the final practical completion.

Your build then starts. We’ll be sure to keep you informed at all times throughout the process, and keep you in-the-loop with any issues and decisions that we may need, and of course be there for any questions you have along the way.

We find the best way to communicate is by site visit or email, this way any onsite issues are addressed quickly, and any paperwork which needs to be addressed is all logged.

As the project edges towards completion, a site visit is arranged to carryout a pre-snag. This ensures that we keep to our agreed timescales as well making sure we’re managing your expectations.We then work hard to make sure no stone is left unturned and completion and sign-off is to the highest of standards and meets your exacting expectations.

On completion, Province Group will hand over your new home! As well as all the relevant paperwork and guarantees, and run through any final questions you may have. Once you’re all happy, your keys will then be handed over.

As an experienced professional builders working on building projects across the Suffolk and Essex areas – we understand that further down the line there will always be something that may need addressing. Whether it’s a kitchen door that needs re-aligning, or your bi-folds have a sticky lock.

That’s why on completion, we’ll pre-book a 6-month appointment with you for one of our specialist finishers to return and address any niggles you may have, no matter how small. We do this because we know we’re only as good as our last job. We thrive off of recommendation, so this is particularly important to us.

Once we’ve ensured your complete satisfaction with our service, we’ll ask if you could kindly leave us a review on how we performed. This is for two reasons;

1 – To ensure we’ve performed completely up to standard on your build, and so we can absorb your feedback and look at how we can improve for next time.

2 – So we can continue to spread the word on how happy all of our clients are.
