We were so impressed with Sam and his teams work when they completed a project for us earlier in the year (extension off the back of the kitchen, new kitchen and a WC), that we didn't think twice when we needed more work doing in the rest of the house.
They are highly professional, trustworthy and a lovely bunch of people. The whole process was smooth with no stress at all and they kept us in the loop the entire time. Their work is completed to the highest standard and the house was always kept in a clean state!

His quick responses and time on site or over the phone to talk things through and provide reassurance and advice when required was always very much appreciated. We were really impressed with all the tradesmen. They all did a fantastic job and were also all friendly, polite and professional so we felt completely comfortable with them in our home. Everyone treated me with the same respect as my husband - from my experience, unfortunately you don't always get that as a woman. So that has been so refreshing and really important to me. Thank you. Special mentions to Roy and Mark especially, who were so great at what they do and so lovely (Roy is a superstar with his efficiency!) and they also left everything so tidy! Thanks also to Wes and Buster who, like Roy and Mark, do a great job and were so friendly. To Den and Ross who both took time to talk things through and reassure me. To Dan for his attention to detail and being so understanding having to redo/adjust elements at no fault of his own. Aaron and the flooring team were also fantastic - so helpful and friendly too. The roofers were great too and very patiently helped me figure out dimensions of the extension when I was getting stressed about something! Massive thank you to Sam and all the team!”

“We first contacted Sam in 2021, having already spoken another builder. The first builder we realised though was just recommending work based on what he wanted to do - not what we wanted to do, but with Sam and Province it was very different.
Sam took an immense amount of time chatting through our vision. He probably visited us 4-5 times as our ideas changed, and he had some great ideas himself, and advice whenever we wanted it. He produced about 5 different invoices for us as we changed our minds, and never grumbled!
He sorted everything, start to finish. From the structural engineer, to the planning permission, to the plumbing, electricals, carpentry, and even the gardening and cleaning at the very end to bring everything back to being spick and span. Sam’s a great guy, he really cares about his business, its reputation, the outcomes he’s creating - and he has huge pride in his work.
He kept us updated with videos and calls throughout, and was careful to preserve original features. He just wanted us to be happy. It’s a slick operation and service oriented. His teams were all exceptionally friendly, patient - they were even fixing routine things as they went - just out of decency. He’s always contactable, has helped us with a few emergencies since, is completely reliable and has never let us down.
If you’re considering a building project and don’t know where to start, I can heartily and in good faith recommend Sam and Province, they won’t let you down - and you’ll be delighted with the outcome!”
